There is a midway opening of the highway on the Kayathar offshoot road to approach Saron Fuel Center from Madurai side (North) and another near the Kritika Mills from Tuticorin side (South).

Saron Fuel Center is on the outskirts of Eppodumvendran at just 1.25 KM towards Tuticorin, 0.4 KM southwest from the point branching off to Pasuvanthanai /Kayathar and 25 KM from Tuticorin after crossing Kurukkuchalai and Jegaveerapandiapuram.

The place is easily accessible and approachable from places of historic importance reflecting Indias glorious past as it is endowed with a well paved and wide highway. The southernmost tip of India, Cape Comorin or Kanyakumari , the holy temple town of Tiruchendur, port city of Tuticorin with a surrounding hub of industries, Vottapidaram the birth place of veteran freedom fighter and legal luminary V.O. Chidambaranar, Kayathar where the memorial exists at the spot remembering the hanging of a heroic Kattabomman who refused to surrender and fought the British till his last breathe and Ettayapuram where the peoples poet Kavi Subramania Bharathiar who is famous for his simple but strongly stirring songs arousing peoples passions during the freedom struggle.
 
The world famous temple towns of Kanyakumari and Tiruchendur besides numerous temples considered holy by the locals like Solaiappa Swamy temple, Eral Naryanaswamy, Vinayaka temple at Arumugamangalam (where Adi Sankara composed the Ganesha Pancharatnam), Murugan temple at Sivagnanapuram, Meenakshi Amman temple at Vilathikulam, and Navathirupathi temples of Shri Vaishnava sect, Alwar Thirungari. Nanguneri and Thirukkurungudi temples are all sacred places for Shri Vaishnavites. The place where the eternal Tambraparni river (spoken of in the oldest of Vedas Rig Veda)merges and becomes one with the Bay of Bengal is not far off. There are also places of interest for Christian faith like Mother Mary Church in Tuticorin and holy places like Nazareth, Sayarpuram etc., and Kayalpattinam and similar places for the Muslim devouts.
 
Places of interest from industry point of view in the surrounding are Tuticorin which boasts of Tuticorin Port Trust with ship berthing facility, PSUs like TAG, Heavy Water Project, Thermal Power Station, major industries in private sector like SPIC Complex, Sterlite Industries, DCW Industries and numerous salt pans and ancillary industries catering to the major industries.
